Pets
Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Smoking in the room
Smoking/ Vaping is prohibited in ALL areas of the Ostend Hotel. The hotel may charge a €150 compensation fee for the extra care this requires.

Miscellaneous
Weapons, knives, fireworks, and other fire hazards are prohibited.

Bringing in, consuming, or trading drugs is strictly forbidden.

If hotel property or belongings of other guests are stolen, the police will be contacted.

Anyone harassing, endangering, or preventing hotel guests or staff from doing their jobs will be denied access to the hotel.

Check-in and check-out
You have access to your room from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
We ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. This allows us to thoroughly clean the room for new guests.
Late departures after 11:00 a.m. may incur additional charges.
Please keep the room in good condition and leave it tidy upon departure. We also ask you to conserve energy. This allows us to continue offering competitive rates.

Booking and cancellation
The total amount is to be settled upon arrival, for practical reasons.

If you cancel up to 24 hours before the arrival date, a 10% administration fee will be charged.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before arrival or do not show up (no show), you will be charged for the first night.
All cancellations must be communicated to the hotel in writing (fax/email) to avoid misunderstandings. Any deposit paid can be transferred to a future reservation.

If you wish to leave the hotel earlier than the reserved departure date during your stay, the hotel reserves the right to charge you the full amount. These conditions can be discussed with the hotel management and depend on the period and the situation.

A reservation made through an external partner can only be canceled if it is also canceled with that partner.
Non-refundable reservations cannot be canceled.
By making a reservation, you automatically agree to the general terms and conditions.

Defects
We do everything in our power to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. However, we cannot be held responsible for temporary and unforeseen defects in equipment and/or furnishings. In such cases, we always try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Any defects cannot be used as a reason for price reductions.

Promotions and special offers
By providing your email address, you automatically give the hotel permission to use it for promotional purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to info@hotelostend.be.
Please also read all the information provided in your room.

Promotions and special offers cannot be combined with other offered rates.
Reservations already made cannot be canceled to exchange for a promotion. If this occurs, the hotel reserves the right to charge a €50 administration fee.

Prices for packages and promotions are total amounts and cannot be divided. If, for any reason, you wish to check out early, the nights stayed and the dinners will be charged at standard rates, with a minimum of one night.

Packages
No refunds or compensation can be requested if you choose not to use certain parts of the package.
The hotel cannot be held responsible for changes made by external parties.

Drinks and food may not be taken out of the restaurant. All food and drink must be consumed in the restaurant.

Parking
The hotel cannot be held liable for damage and/or theft of vehicles parked in the garage owned by Indigo or in our parking lot located on Maria Hofstraat.
The deposit for the parking card remains the property of the hotel if you do not return the card on the day of departure, if you lose the card, or if it is damaged.

Lost and found
Lost items are kept by the hotel under a numbered system for a maximum of 3 months.
After this period, items are automatically discarded or donated to charity.
Items can be returned at your own expense.
